The department is currently undergoing an ambitious drive to upgrade the software support facilities as a part of its philosophy of continuous improvement.

Apart from this, the department has full access to the University’s general facilities and resources like the K.K. Handique central library, which has around 250000 collections, the computer center, the B.K. Borua auditorium with a seating capacity of 2500, indoor stadium complexes, medical facilities, university guesthouses and club, reading rooms etc.
