Universities, which is affiliation of Commonwealth
Universities. It is the oldest and largest
University of the North Eastern Region.
At present it has 194 affiliated colleges
offering under-graduate and post-graduate
courses in Arts, Science, Commerce, Law,
Engineering and Medicine.

DEPARTMENT
PROFILE
Department
of Business Administration provides a two
year post graduate course in Business Administration.
It was started way back in the year 1978,
the first of its kind in the entire region
when the others have not even dared to think
about it. Each failure, each obstacle, each
stumbling block turned into a success story,
becoming a symbol for the thousands of aspirants
of this region. Today it is in the stage
of proudly giving education to its 26th
batch.
The
department offers 2 year full time course
in 4 semester curriculum and also in order
to promote excellence in management it has
launched the PhD programme in management
since inception. The department offers dual
specialization in Marketing, Finance, Human
Resource and Production Management. The
doctoral programme is designed to impart
knowledge, develop skills and create attitudes
relevant to teaching research and consulting.
The
MBA programme is under the full sponsorship
of UGC and recognition of AICTE. The department
is ranked best among those of the north
east as per the quality of education imparted
by the distinguished faculty with interdisciplinary
background from the premier institutes of
the country and even outside the country.
The department holds the institutional membership
of professional bodies like AIMS and AMDISA.
